ECSIS ia an audiovisual performance for piano, vibraphone, orchestral percussion and live electronics: a collaborative work, almost six months in the making, between Marius Arcioni (vibraphone and orchestral percussions), Samuele Arrigoni (piano), and Chelidon Frame, inspired by the theme of extinction.
It’s a three-part soundscape, with accompanying visuals, that explores the scientific classification of extinction phenomena, as in Background Extinction, Mass Extinction, and Human Led Extinction.
